About me

I write the best blog you’re not reading.

I’m a city girl who has a dirt side. I’m about as likely to be wearing heels and holding a Cosmo in one hand as I am to be in Vans clutching a snowboard.

After college I taught English in Asia for several years, then studied magazine publishing in Boston. I worked for a publishing company in D.C. until they went bankrupt. Whoops. It wasn’t my fault, I swear.

I believe in good sushi, that chocolate should have at least 60% cocao, that there’s fine line between HI-larious and total drek, and that 100 mile bicycle rides are good for you.

My ambition is to become Head Sake Taster for a food magazine, find (and eat) the perfect waffle and own the world’s smallest camp stove.
